Shiva Statue Park

The Statue Park at Murudeshwar surrounds the 123-foot Shiva statue with life-size dioramas depicting scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata — colourful, vividly detailed sculptures of mythological episodes set in garden beds around the base of the giant figure. The Chariot of Arjuna (Bhagavad Gita scene), the Dashavatara pavilion, and the Lanka Dahan (Hanuman burning Lanka) are especially impressive.
