Raja Gopura

Raja Gopura is the stunning 20-storey (approx. 73 metre) temple tower of Murudeshwar Temple — one of the tallest temple gopurams in India, standing guard at the entrance to the shrine with the 123-foot Shiva statue beside it. A lift inside the gopura takes visitors to the upper floors for panoramic views of the Murudeshwar coastline, the Arabian Sea, and the Western Ghats.
