Jag Mandir

Jag Mandir is a stunning island palace in the middle of Lake Pichola, built by the Mewar royal family in the 17th century as a summer resort and pleasure garden. It provided refuge to the Mughal Prince Khurram (later Emperor Shah Jahan) in 1623. Accessible by boat from the City Palace jetty, it offers spectacular lake views, a beautiful garden, elephant statues, and one of Udaipur's finest lakeside restaurants.
