City Palace Udaipur

City Palace Udaipur

City Palace Udaipur is the largest royal palace complex in Rajasthan — a magnificent 400-year-old lakeside palace built by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, rising 30 metres above Lake Pichola. A labyrinth of 11 palaces, grand courtyards, hanging gardens, and the spectacular Mor Chowk (Peacock Courtyard), it houses Rajasthan's finest royal collection. The views of Lake Pichola and the Lake Palace from the palace terraces are iconic. A top Udaipur sightseeing attraction.
