
Shillong Peak at 1,965 m is the highest point in the Shillong plateau — an Indian Air Force-managed viewpoint offering sweeping 360-degree panoramas of Shillong city, the surrounding Khasi Hills, and on clear days the plains of Bangladesh. One of the finest views in Northeast India and a top Shillong photography destination. Passes are arranged at the IAF base gate. Best visited early morning for cloud-free views.
