Savitri Temple

Savitri Temple

Savitri Temple is a hilltop shrine dedicated to Goddess Savitri (Brahma's consort) overlooking Pushkar Lake from a 600-metre peak — reached by 1.5 km of stairs or a ropeway. According to legend, the angry Savitri cursed Brahma and retreated to this hill. The temple offers the finest bird's-eye view of Pushkar's ghats, lake, and the surrounding Aravalli hills. A top Pushkar sunrise photography destination and pilgrimage stop. The ropeway operates from 8 AM daily.
