Rangji Temple is one of Pushkar's largest and most architecturally striking temples — a unique South Indian Dravidian-style temple built by a Marwari merchant in 1823, dedicated to Lord Rangji (a form of Vishnu) and entirely out of place among Pushkar's otherwise Rajput temple architecture. Its soaring gopuram, sacred tank, and Maratha-era gold plating on the inner sanctum make it remarkable. The Rath Yatra (chariot procession) during Rajasthan's Holi festival here is spectacular.
