Rani Padmini Palace

Rani Padmini's Palace is a serene three-tiered water palace on a lotus pond within Chittorgarh Fort — the summer retreat of the legendary Queen Padmini, celebrated for her extraordinary beauty and the courage of her jauhar in 1303. The main palace faces a smaller island pavilion from which Alauddin Khilji reportedly glimpsed Padmini's reflection in the water.
