Kalika Mata Temple

Kalika Mata Temple inside Chittorgarh Fort is an 8th-century Surya (Sun) temple that was later converted into a Devi shrine — one of the oldest temples within the fort complex, displaying remarkable Pratihara-period stone carvings. Dedicated to Goddess Kalika (a fierce form of Kali), it is an important Shakta pilgrimage site within the fort.
