Deoria Tal

Deoria Tal is a pristine Himalayan lake at 2,438 m near Chopta, Uttarakhand, offering perfect mirror reflections of the Chaukhamba peaks on still mornings — one of the most photographed Himalayan lake views in India. The 3 km forest trek from Sari village passes through dense oak and rhododendron forest. A popular overnight camping destination and sunrise photography spot. Best visited October to November and April to June. One of Uttarakhand's most beautiful hidden lakes.
