Vaishno Devi
After completing the main darshan, climb an additional 2.5 km to the Bhairavnath Temple perched at 2,300 metres. It is believed that a Vaishno Devi yatra is incomplete without visiting this temple, and the panoramic views of the Trikuta Mountains from here are absolutely stunning.
The descent from Bhairavnath back to Katra via Himkoti route offers different and equally beautiful scenery.
