Malpe Beach

Malpe Beach is Udupi's most popular beach — a long, vibrant stretch of golden sand on the Arabian Sea, 6 km west of Udupi town, famous for its fresh seafood, water sports (jet skiing, banana boats, parasailing), and the scenic views of St Mary's Island offshore. The Malpe fishing harbour is one of Karnataka's busiest, and the evening fish market is a top local experience. A top Udupi sightseeing and family beach destination. Best October to March.
