Kashid Beach

Kashid Beach is the Konkan coast's finest white sand beach — a 3 km pristine stretch of unusually pale sand flanked by casuarina trees and rocky headlands, 30 km south of Alibaug. Far cleaner and less crowded than Alibaug Beach, it is a top Alibaug day-trip and Maharashtra beach destination. Free entry; several beach resorts offer overnight stays. The coastal drive along NH66 through the Konkan is itself rewarding. Best visited October–February on weekdays.
