Joshimath

Joshimath is the gateway town to Auli and Badrinath in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, holding immense spiritual significance as the winter seat of Lord Badri and a key pilgrimage hub. Base for the world-famous Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib treks, Joshimath also features the ancient Shankaracharya Math and a sacred mulberry tree believed to be thousands of years old.
