Jaswant Thada

Jaswant Thada is a serene white marble cenotaph built in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II — often called the "Taj Mahal of Marwar" for its intricate marble latticework and ethereal glow. Surrounded by sculpted gardens and a tranquil lake reflecting the Mehrangarh Fort behind it, it is one of Jodhpur's most photogenic and peaceful heritage sites. The royal portraits inside and the sunset views of Mehrangarh from its terrace make it a top Jodhpur attraction.
