Halcyon Castle is a stunning colonial-era heritage bungalow on the headland between Lighthouse and Hawah beaches — a gracious 19th-century mansion that was once the summer retreat of the Travancore royal family, offering sweeping views of Kovalam's coastline. Now a government heritage property, it is the most distinctive landmark on the Kovalam beachfront.
