Eastern Range (Agoratoli)

The Eastern Range (Agoratoli) is Kaziranga's premier birdwatching and photography zone, with forested terrain near the Brahmaputra River attracting 480+ bird species. The only zone offering a boat safari, it is famous for migratory waterfowl, hornbills, greater adjutant storks, and the rare golden tiger. A quieter, more forested experience than Kohora — ideal for nature photographers and serious birdwatchers visiting Assam.
