Central Range (Kohora)

The Central Range (Kohora) is Kaziranga's most popular safari zone and the best place to spot the UNESCO-listed park's famous Big Five — one-horned rhino, Asiatic elephant, wild water buffalo, eastern swamp deer, and Royal Bengal Tiger. Starting from Mihimukh riding tower, the jeep and elephant safaris here offer iconic Kaziranga wildlife sightings amid vast open grasslands and seasonal beels (lakes).
