Vembanad Lake

Vembanad Lake is Kerala's largest and most important lake — a 200 sq km Ramsar wetland stretching from Kochi to Alleppey, the backbone of the Kerala backwater ecosystem and the staging ground for the famous Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race.
