Silathoranam is a rare natural stone arch on the Tirumala Hills — a remarkable geological formation created naturally in quartzite rock over millions of years, resembling a sacred hood of a serpent. One of only two such natural arches in Asia and the only one in India, it is a geological and natural heritage wonder near the Venkateswara Temple. An ASI-protected site of scientific and spiritual significance, it is a unique Tirumala sightseeing attraction for nature and geology enthusiasts.
