Sajnekhali Watchtower is the main entry point and nerve centre of the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve — the world's largest mangrove forest and the only habitat of the Royal Bengal Tiger that swims. The watchtower overlooks a large tidal pond teeming with saltwater crocodiles, spotted deer, and birds. Home to the Sajnekhali Bird Sanctuary and a small interpretation centre. The essential starting point for all Sundarbans boat safaris in West Bengal.
