Rabdentse Ruins are the atmospheric remains of Sikkim's second royal capital, built in the 17th century and abandoned in 1814 near Pelling. Surrounded by rhododendron forests with sweeping views of Kanchenjunga, these evocative stone ruins accessed via a scenic forest trail are a UNESCO tentative heritage site and top West Sikkim historical attraction.
