Palolem
Take a short boat ride from Palolem to the tiny uninhabited Monkey Island (Canacona Island), where langurs roam freely among coconut palms and the beaches are completely deserted. The boat trip at sunset with golden light reflecting off the water is simply spectacular.
Don't feed the monkeys — they're wild and can be territorial; keep snacks inside your bag.
