Pahalgam
Trek by horse through Pahalgam's high-altitude meadows (margs) to Baisaran — the 'Mini Switzerland of India' — a grassy plateau 5 km from Pahalgam with spectacular mountain views and snow-capped peaks as a backdrop.
Baisaran is accessible only by horse or on foot — no motorised vehicles. Sunset from Baisaran meadow is particularly spectacular.
