Louisa Point

Louisa Point is Matheran's most romantic sunset viewpoint — a serene cliff edge with sweeping views of Peb Fort, the Prabal plateau, and forested Sahyadri valleys below. Far less crowded than Panorama Point, it is a top Matheran photography and couples sightseeing destination. A pleasant 2 km walk from the market through shaded forest. Free entry; most atmospheric late afternoon in golden light. Best visited October–March. Combine with Charlotte Lake for a quiet full-morning walk.
