Kaziranga National Park
Just outside the main park boundary, the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park is a wonderful complement to the wildlife safaris — a botanical walk through native orchids, medicinal plants, and the rich forest ecosystems of Assam. It is quiet, peaceful, and puts the park's extraordinary biodiversity in a botanical context that most visitors miss entirely.
Best visited in the afternoon after your morning safari. The park staff are knowledgeable and happy to point out the rarest orchid species to look for.
