Jallianwala Bagh

Jallianwala Bagh is a historic memorial garden in Amritsar marking the site of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh Massacre — one of the most tragic events in India's independence movement, where British troops under General Dyer fired on a peaceful crowd, killing hundreds. The bullet-scarred walls, the narrow entry passage, and the memorial well preserve the memory of the massacre.
