Government Botanical Gardens

Government Botanical Garden Ooty is a spectacular 55-acre heritage garden established in 1848 in the Nilgiri Hills, Tamil Nadu. Home to over 650 plant species including a 20-million-year-old fossilized tree trunk, exotic ferns, and rare orchids, it hosts the celebrated annual Flower Show and is Ooty's crown jewel of colonial-era horticulture and botanical heritage.
