Goa
Goa's 105 km coastline offers a beach for every traveller — the lively Baga and Calangute (North Goa) with beach shacks and water sports, the upscale Candolim and Sinquerim, the party-centric Anjuna and Vagator with their cliff-top views, the scenic Arambol (hippie paradise), and South Goa's pristine Palolem, Agonda, and Butterfly Beach.
Arambol (North Goa) is excellent for budget travellers and a bohemian vibe; Agonda (South Goa) for quiet luxury. Avoid peak monsoon (June–August) when beaches are rough.
