Dwarkadhish Temple

Dwarkadhish Temple

Dwarkadhish Temple is one of India's four sacred Char Dham pilgrimage sites — a magnificent 5-storey 72-metre Jagat Mandir dedicated to Lord Krishna (Dwarkadhish), built on the banks of the Gomti River in Gujarat. The spectacular 52-yard tall flag (dhwaja) atop its shikhar changes 5 times daily. Archaeological excavations beneath the Gomti River have revealed underwater ruins of the ancient city of Dwarka mentioned in the Mahabharata. A top Gujarat spiritual destination.
