Coonoor
Sim's Park is one of the finest hill-station botanical gardens in India, spread across 12 hectares of steep terraced slopes in the heart of Coonoor. Home to over 1,000 plant species including rare tree ferns, giant magnolias, and Japanese cherry blossoms, the park is a horticultural treasure and one of the most visited places in Coonoor, Nilgiris. The annual Fruit and Vegetable Show held here in May draws visitors from across South India.
The park is most beautiful and fragrant in March and April when the rose garden and magnolia trees are in full bloom.
