Cave 2 at Ajanta is one of the most richly decorated caves in the complex — a Mahayana vihara with an extraordinary painted ceiling of geometric and floral patterns as vivid as the day they were created 1,500 years ago. The antechamber murals depicting Jataka tale scenes are among Ajanta's finest. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and top Ajanta sightseeing highlight. Included in the standard entry ticket.
