Ayodhya
Complete the Panch Kosi Parikrama — the 14-km ritual circumambulation of Ayodhya's sacred city boundary traditionally done barefoot by devout pilgrims, passing 15 major temples including Dashrath Mahal, Sita Rasoi, Lakshman Ghat, and Rama Janmabhoomi. The walk is a moving journey through the entire Ramayana geography.
The Parikrama is best done with a local priest-guide who can explain the Ramayana significance of each stop. Many pilgrims complete it barefoot as an act of devotion — comfortable walking shoes are fine for others.
