Arthur's Seat is Mahabaleshwar's most dramatic viewpoint — a sheer cliff edge at 1,470 m with vertiginous drops into the Koyna Valley below, known as the Queen of all Points. On clear days, the distant Arabian Sea is visible. One of the finest panoramic Mahabaleshwar sightseeing destinations. Free entry; most spectacular during and immediately after monsoon when valleys fill with cloud and mist. One of the most photographed Maharashtra viewpoints. Best visited early morning before haze builds.
